Parsons Paris x Cerruti x Woolmark
Kimberly worked alongside a team of other Parsons Paris Fashion Design and Strategic Design & Management students to develop a capsule collection and marketing plan exploring gender fluidity for Parisian menswear brand Cerruti 1881.
Inspiration for this project was drawn from founder, Nino Cerrito's, history in film and cinema, specifically two 1991 films he costume designed for - VI Warshawski and Silence of the Lambs. This brought the team to reflecting on gender as performance (Butler, Judith. Gender Trouble. New York and London: Routledge, 1990. Print); something we all inevitably engage in everyday through our dress and its associations with gender.
